Report of the constitutive assembly
The Constitutive Assembly of the National Association of Moroccan Rural Geographers (ANAGERM) was held on Saturday, 11 June 2022, at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of Ben M'Sik in Casablanca, starting at 10:00 a.m. in the Abdelwahed Khairi Hall.
The association is a scholarly organization endowed with legal personality and financial autonomy, and operates in accordance with the provisions of the laws currently in force. It is established for an unlimited duration and is composed of founding members and registered members, in accordance with the provisions of its statutes.
Following the appointment of the Chair of the Assembly, Professor Moussa Kerzazi, and the Rapporteur, Professor Mohamed Mdina, the Constitutive Assembly was held both in person and remotely. After extensive discussions, the statutes were approved and the administrative committee was elected. The latter then elected the President of the Association, followed by the election of the ten remaining members. The Assembly agreed that the Executive Board would consist of eleven members, with due consideration given to gender representation.
After the election of the Executive Board, the General Assembly decided to entrust it with carrying out all the necessary legal and administrative procedures related to this matter.
