Rainfall variability and its impact on agricultural systems in Morocco — Studies in agricultural geography

Edited by Mohammed EL ASSAAD & Mohamed MOUHIDDINE — 200 pages, 2024.

This volume contributes to the study of rainfall variations and farmers' adaptation to agricultural systems in arid and semi-arid Moroccan environments. It is organized around three main axes:

  1. Farmers' choices under risk and uncertainty and their impact on agro-pastoral systems in semi-arid and arid environments.
  2. Cross-regional analyses (agrarian system transformations, peasant responses, landscape changes).
  3. Renewed methodological approaches in agricultural geography.

The book is the fruit of a collaboration between the Environmental Transformations and Spatial Planning Laboratory and ANAGERM.
